The Power of Compassion

“He had me in His mind when He died on the Cross.” —Ben Mwangi, a life changed

Here’s a really good reason to sponsor a child through Compassion in 2014. This video will move you to compassion and action. What an impact just over a dollar a day can make in the life of a child, a family and future children in the Compassion programs.

Here’s Ben’s Story. He was raised in one of the largest slums in Africa, but a Compassion program operated through a local church, God changed everything. You’ve got to watch this video.

  1. We just signed up to sponsor a child in December. My 15 year old daughter is looking to be a missionary and we thought this would be a great way to sow into her future. It is also nice that she is earning the money herself and is so excited to start walking in her calling. God bless!

    • That is amazing. What awesome parents you are to give opportunity to that passion in her heart. I grew up wanting to be a missionary. Even though I’m not a missionary in a foreign land, that desire hadn’t left and I have to trust God to fulfill that dream and desire in my life…. But sponsoring a child sure is a wonderful way to be a part of what God is doing in the nations. Actually, we are thinking of sponsoring a child on behalf of my 6 yr old daughter—who also wants to be a missionary. She found a girl with her same bday just yesterday and is wanting us to sponsor her. It is so exciting! So glad you stopped by and connected. Blessings to you and your daughter and all God has for you!

  2. We are not doing this now, but we have done in the past. We ought to consider it again. Once we sponsored a deaf child in El Salvador, so that she could go to the ONLY Christian deaf school (one of two deaf schools total) in the country. Blessings to you.
